Sources

From Learn about your cycle.

Every claim about the body in the Learn guide traces to a graded entry in our evidence notes, and every PubMed id below was checked against the National Library of Medicine's database before it shipped. That check matters more than it sounds: AI tools invent citations that look real, and we caught more than a dozen that way. What you see here is what survived.

Where we hold a PubMed or PMC id, the paper's real title is shown and links to the abstract, with our own note on what we used it for underneath. Sources cited by name only are listed in our shorthand until they are resolved to an id. This list is generated from the same file the app's Learn tab uses, so it cannot drift from what the app says.
